Starting with the Timney Alpha Competition trigger platform, the Ultimate Builder’ s Kit (UBK) for Glock also includes a striker, striker spring, connector, safety plunger, and safety plunger spring. The striker, made from stainless steel, matches the geometry of the Alpha Competition sear, while the safety plunger matches the geometry of the Alpha Competition trigger bar and is made from tool steel. All Ultimate Builder’ s Kit parts are heat treated and NP3 coated for durability and increased lubricity. With a factory pull weight of 3 pounds, the Timney Alpha Competition trigger answers the long call for a trigger that has the same feel and performance that matches the reliability of the Glock system by providing an improved trigger design that does not sacrifice any part of the Glock reliability.
